Dan Hodkinson

Equity capital markets banker and chartered accountant. Formerly at Cavendish, where I worked on MHA plc's £100m AIM IPO in 2025.

IndexReady

Runs an IPO exit-readiness check on a UK company's accounts: likely ICB classification and its valuation consequence, FTSE index eligibility, and the passive demand a float would unlock.

PanelBot

Drafts the first response to a panel enquiry on an unexplained share price move: price and volume across the window, news and speculation, and a price-sensitivity view.

Most of the work on a listing happens before anyone sees a prospectus: deciding how the business is described, which index it can join, who will own the shares on day one, and what needs fixing in the accounts years in advance. Those calls are usually made from memory and spreadsheets.

I build small tools that make that thinking explicit. Each one takes a real deal problem I have worked on, encodes the published rules, and shows its sources, so the output can be checked line by line, the way a banker would want.
